OBALENDE CLEANUP REPORT

Saturday, 22nd of February 2020 is a day the people at obalende, Lagos will not forget in a hurry as African CleanUp Initiative (ACI) with about 150 volunteers went into different areas in obalende to clean up the community.

Everyone converged at the UBA parking lot which is behind Oando filling station and by 8:40 am, the Chief Operation officers of ACI, Mrs. Eunice Akhigbe welcomed both partners and volunteers. She spoke about the essence of the exercise and thank everyone for volunteering to be a part of the exercise.

Recycles Pay Earn Coca-Cola Foundation Grants

The Coca-Cola Foundation has awarded grants to the Africa Clean Up Initiative, pioneers of the famous Recycles Pay and Clean-Up Naija project. This is in line with Coca-Cola’s commitment to fostering a World Without Waste, as these grants are aimed at bolstering efforts to reduce waste created by food and beverage packaging waste and other non-biodegradable substances.
