Africa Clean-up Conference (ACC) is an international conference powered by African Clean Up Initiative aimed to bring together civic leaders, non-governmental organizations, government agencies, environmental activists and students across Africa and the globe to share ideas, network, and proffer solutions to environmental challenges with the aim of fast tracking the achievement of the sustainable
development goals and raising environmentally responsible citizens across Africa.

AFRICA CLEAN UP CONFERENCE 2019

Each year it is held in a choice African country. Since 2016 the conference started, it has been held in Nigeria, Ghana and Togo. This year 2019, Ghana will again play host to the delegates coming from across Africa for the conference.

This is to formally invite you to participate at the 2019 African Clean-Up Conference. This knowledge based environmental conference themed: TRANSFORMATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY IN AFRICA

Date: Friday, 2nd August to Saturday 3rd August, 2019. (Delegates Arrival: Thursday 1st and Delegate
Departure: Sunday 4th August, 2019).

This is the 4th edition of the Conference. The 1st edition was held in Lagos, Nigeria in 2016 and 2nd edition was held in Cape Coast, Ghana in 2017. 3rd edition was here in Lomé, Togo in 2018.

– To provide a platform for Africans to change the African narrative and set a roadmap for grassroots and national development.
– To spotlight environmental and social issues in Africa and make localized solutions available.
– To produce developmental change through re-engineering of mindset and setting principles for transformation growth.
– To determine achievements in relations to the environmental and community development, determine lapses, and share insightful information for progress.
– To address present challenges, proffer practical solutions for application in the African countries.
– To provide a platform for local people to take control of their own lives, expressing their own demands and finding their own solutions to their problems.
– To promote the African culture and encourage both local and international relations
